Fifth release for Outrage’s Backlash Records imprint, and the funk has no sign of ceasing! We’ve got two dynamic plates on this one, and the fiery “Twisted” kicks things off. In his no-nonsense approach, this cut wastes no time in getting to the point: once the infectious bass is introduced, its go time! It’s an understated menace, with not too many elements mucking up the pressure – just snappy drums, a rumble of a bass and some interesting twists and turns to the main theme. Bombastic, try it on a ready crowd. On the flipside, Outrage goes a bit
deeper with “New Faces”, bringing in a sinister growl and pairing it up with a bouncy bassline. Feels like the effects of a drug, blood rushing, lights skittering, all colors awash, and all you see are a sea of new faces. Welcome to the future.
